Check out the images from Saturn's moon Titan taken by the Huygens probe of the Cassini-Huygens mission. It was launched on October 15, 1997 and has looped around the sun twice getting a boost from Venus and Jupiter on the way. It's pretty amazing to think that we can send a craft to an object over a billion kilometers away moving at 10 km per second, then land on it and send a photo back. You gotta hand it to the rocket scientists!
